In my architecture views, I argue that more can be done with less through the balance between the simplicity of forms and the richness of the space’s materiality and lightness. Much likely due to the outstanding mentoring of Francisco Vieira de Campos, co-founder of Menos é Mais Arquitectos and my subsequent affection to the works of Aires Mateus and Carrilho da Graça.
The academic and study works displayed here reflect this doctrine, being always a pragmatic response to the specific context of the project while following the trails of the previous generation of Portuguese architecture.
